REVIVAL AT NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH

    Bro. Mike Smedley and the congregation of New Hope Baptist Church 

would like to welcome everyone to their revival December 8 at 7 p.m. 

Bro. Jamie McCutchen will be the evangalist.

CHRISTMAS ANGEL'S PAGEANT

    Busy Bees Daycare Relay for Life team, kids for a cure is hosting 

the 5th annual Christmas Angel's Pageant on Sunday, December 8 at 3 

p.m. at the Cumberland County Middle School, Burkesville Ky. 

Registration begins at 2 p.m. ages 0-6 month, 7-12 months, 1-2 years 

girls and boys, girls 3-4 yrs., boys 3-5 yrs, girls 5-6 yrs., 

couples 3-5, 6-8 yrs., girls 7-9 yrs, 10-12 yrs, 13-15 yrs, 16-21 

yrs. Attire 0-6 yrs and couples is Christmas Attire. 7-21 yrs 

pagaenat attire. All proceeds go to The American Cancer Society. For

WORK FORCE INVESTMENT BOARD MEETING

    There will be a Work Force Investment Board meeting, Tuesday, December 17 at 10 a.m. CT in the large conference room at the Lake 

Cumberland Area Development District offices in Russell Springs.

MONTICELLO SCHOOL

REMEMBRANCE CALENDAR

    Starting next week the Wayne County Historical Society will have 

calendars for sale featuring the early years of Monticello School. 

The cost is $10, and they can be shipped or purchased at the Museum 

or the Genealogy Library. The calendars commemorate the historic 

advances and legacy of the early years of the school with unique 

photos and selections from the 1915 yearbook.

WALKER EARLY LEARNING CENTER SBDM MEETING

    The Walker Early Learning Center SBDM will meet on the second 

Tuesday, of each month at 5 p.m. in the school conference room.

9TH ANNUAL TOY AND COAT DRIVE

    Cash Express is currently accepting toys, coats, shoes (washable) 

and non perishable food items for the 9th Annual Toy and Coat Drive 

for the children. Deadline is December 15. Items can be dropped off 

at locations in the area.
