Run for the roses

Monticello — Wayne County Early Childhood Center student Austan Smith let her stick

horse, Rainbow, pick grass after participating in the preschool's Kentucky

Derby, where all the horses and riders win. The preschoolers paraded their

unique customized horses around the track so the spectators could see them

prior to the race.
