Two more candidates file for May primary

1-15-2014 —     The filing deadline is less than a week away for candidates who are 

running for offices that appear on the May primary ballot.

    Two other candidates have joined the list of those vying for office, 

bringing the total number on the local ballot to 38 so far.

    Jessie D. Fulton, a republican, has filed as a candidate for 

District Four Magistrate.

    George Maxwell Wise, a republican from Campbellsville, has filed as 

a candidate for the 16th District State Senate seat.

    The filing deadline for candidates is Tuesday, January 28 at 4 p.m.
