Cody Vinsant signs with Campbellsville University

Monticello — Wayne County wrestler Cody Vinsant has signed to wrestle at

Campbellsville University next year. Cody is the son of Brian and Debbie

Vinsant.

Cody was a four year starter for the Wayne County Mat Cardinals. He was

a co-captain for three seasons. Vinsant won 219 matches and lost 25 during

his high school career. He was a three-time state placer for the Mat

Cardinals finishing third at 125 lb. this season.

Coach Franky James, head coach at Campbellsville University stated, "We

are very excited about Cody Vinsant signing with us here at Campbellsville

University. Cody is a very dedicated wrestler and an outstanding young

person. Cody loves to wrestle and is a hard worker who will continue to

develop on the college level. I think he has a very good college wrestling

career ahead of him and we look forward to having him continue his education
