A tubing accident Friday, July 6 in the area of White Oak Creek accounted for a 14-year-old girl being transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for treatment.

    According to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Officer Jerrod Alley, the 
teenager was on a tube with two other juveniles around 4 p.m. when 
she was ejected after the operator of the vessel crossed a large wake.
    The victim made contact with the other tube riders, as all three of 
them fell into the water. The teenager complained of neck and back pain.
    Officers Alley and Martin picked up EMS workers at Conley Bottom 
Marina and took them to the boat that was transporting the teen to 
the dock. She was transported to a waiting ambulance at Conley Bottom 
and then taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
    No alcohol or drug use is suspected, but the accident remains under
