GENIVE KEITH PHILLIPS

Genive Keith Phillips, age 71, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010 at her home.

She was born May 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Crit and Myrtle Morrow Keith.

On August 21, 1966 she united in marriage with Samuel L. Phillips, who survives.

To this union she is also survived by two daughters-Stephanie Jones and Claudia Pope; three grandchildren-Jessica and Emily Jones and Lindsey Pope; five sisters-Anna Lee Vaughn, Audrey Edwards, Ellen Turner, Arlene Taylor and Georgia Dick; and two brothers-Jimmie and Billy Joe Keith

She was preceded in death by her infant sister-Sheila Kay Keith; and half brother-Virgil Morrow.

She accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and became a member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She was a faithful member of the Taylor's Grove Baptist Church at the time of her passing.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Carlie Tucker and Bro. Harvey Atkinson officiating. Burial followed by Isaac Tucker Cemetery.
