PHYLLIS KAYE PIERCY

Phyllis Kaye Piercy, age 52, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at her home.

She was born August 29,1957 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of Tina Cooper Gibson and the late Kay Orbie Atkinson.

She married David Piercy, who survives her in death.

She is also survived by two sons-Michael and Chris Piercy; four grandchildren-Travis and Trent Price and Emilie and Mackinzie Piercy;

step-father- Weldon Gibson; one brother-Billy Atkinson; two sisters-Evelyn Turner and Margaret Hicks.

She was preceded in death by one brother-Kenny Gibson.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Koger Ramsey and Bro. Keith McKim officiating.

Burial was in the New Charity Baptist Church Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
