RONDAL GREGORY

Oct. 8, 1929-April 28, 2008

Rondal Gregory, age 78, passed away Monday, April 28, 2008 at his home after an extended illness.

He was born October 8, 1929 in the Rocky Branch community of Wayne County, Ky., the son of Wolford and Mamie Gregory.

On December 23, 1950 he married Betty Jean Anderson Gregory, who survives.

He is survived by two children-Regina and her husband Obie Bates and Don and his wife Carolyn Gregory.

He is also survived by two brothers-Ruell and Joe Ellis Gregory; four grandchildren-Mitchell, Daniel, Casey and Brett; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters-Janice Davenport, Sue Swail and an infant, Mary Landis Gregory.

He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of Canada's Creek Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 2, 2008 at Canada's Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Morrow and Bro. Larry Foster officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Hoyt G. Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
