Harry Arthur West, age 69, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.
He was born July 18, 1938 in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late Cecil West and Elmer McDaniel West.
He married Mary Loubert, who survives.
He is survived by one son-DeWayne and his wife Tahnee West of Leesburg, Ind.; and two daughters-Tammy and her husband Curtis Taylor and Connie West, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two stepdaughters-Patricia and her husband Paul Brown of Virginia Beach, Va. and Sherri and her husband Brad Simpson of Gainesville, Fla.
He is also survived by three brothers-Henry and his wife Mary West, Walter and his wife Sharon West both of Frankfort, Ind., and Rex and his wife Cathy West of Monticello, Ky.; and one sister-Carrie and her husband Charles Bates of Monticello, Ky.;13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two stepsons-Kenneth and Richard Irons; three brothers-William, Richard and Mack West; and seven sisters‹Helen Maxine West, Helen Pauline Bell, Ruby Denney, Etta Fry, Margaret Kidd, Maudie Christian and Anna Abbott.
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Lawless officiating. Burial was in the Harrison Cemetery in Warsaw, Ind.
