SARAH ALICE BAKER

Jan. 25, 1919-May 9, 2008

Sarah Alice Baker, age 89, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, May 9, 2008 at her home.

She was born January 25, 1919 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Grief Gregory and Jane Jones Gregory.

She married Spencer Baker, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by six sons-Lee Baker of New Castle, Ind., Frank, Kay, Mack, Danny and Cecil Baker, all of Monticello, Ky.; and one daughter-Caroline Prince of Monticello, Ky.

She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three daughters-Barbara Faye, Gladys Marie and Emma Jean Baker; several brothers and sisters; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 12, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
