HERSEL CORRELL

Feb. 14, 1921-June 20, 2008

Hersel Correll, age 87, of Erlanger, Ky., formerly of Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at Villa Spring in Erlanger, Ky.

He was born February 14, 1921 in the Steubenville community of Wayne County, Ky., the son of the late William Tate Correll and Rosa Belle East Correll.

He married Lula Mercer, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by 13 nieces and nephews; 15 great nieces and nephews; and 28 great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers-Cecil, Jess, Otis, Carol and Donald Correll; and one sister-Flossie Davis.

He was a WWII Veteran serving most of his time in Germany as a Transportation/Mechanic Specialist.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
