ROXIE GOSSAGE

Nov. 12, 1914-Nov. 7, 2008

Roxie Gossage, age 93, of Albany, Ky., passed away Friday, November 7,

2008 at Clinton County Hospital.

She was born November 12, 1914 in Wayne County, Ky., the daughter of the

late Richard Burnett Walker and Loretta Jane New Walker.

She married Frilba Gossage, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons-Richard, Paul Ray, Obie, Donald, and Ronald

Gossage, all of Monticello, Ky., and Jimmie Gossage of Indianapolis, Ind.;

three daughters-Vanda Guffey of Murray, Ky., Mary Heinzel of Albany, Ky.,

and Verdina Bilbrey of Livingston, Tenn.; one sister-Opal Floyd of

Somerset, Ky.;

22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers-Hobert, Dewey, Luchen, Ernie,

Hubert, and Obie Walker; and four sisters-Bertha Gibson, Ada Alton, Lizzie

Dunnagan, and Flonnie Simpson.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the

funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeff Cole officiating. Burial was in the Elk

Spring Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
