The Wayne County High School boys cross country team competed at the state meet on November 4 in Lexington. The team finished 16th out of 32 teams that competed in Class 2A.    A total of 250 runners competed in the Class 2A boys race. Following are results from the state competition for Wayne County: Nathan West 

33rd, 17:51; Orie Roysdon 41st, 17:58; Jacob Morgan 99th, 18:57; 
Tanner Thompson 157th, 19:44; Aaron Hesse, 190th, 20:31; and Adam 
Sawyer 239th, 22:28.
    Wayne County High School girls cross country runner Nicole Hesse 
competed individually. She finished 92nd out of 215 runners in the 
class. Her time was 22:28.
