Snow days

Students in both local school systems enjoyed a snow day Friday, as classes were dismissed following a winter storm that dumped six inches of the white stuff in this area. Temperatures remained cold Friday, but a few local residents were brave enough to get out in the snow. Above—Zachary Humble, 11-year-old son of Imogene Humble, was bundled up against the freezing temperatures as he shoveled a driveway in his neighborhood. At right—Todd Koontz and his son, Robert, were having fun on the four-wheeler in their neighborhood. Bottom—Snow added a beautiful touch to this greenery.
