PRIDE Clean Up Week set

PRIDE Clean Up Week has been designated for April 12-26 in Wayne County, according to an announcement by County Judge-Executive Bruce Ramsey and Solid Waste Coordinator Andrew Parmley. During this time, large household items, like refrigerators, will be picked up during a door-to-door effort.

"We appreciate working with PRIDE and the clean up dates that they have established," said Parmley. "PRIDE has been good to Wayne County and without them we would have had difficulties making the progress that we have."

Calls to schedule pickup of items will be taken starting April 1. For more information call Andrew Parmley at 348-8522, Ramsey’s office at 348-4241, Mayor Thurston Frye’s office at 348-5719 or the Cooperative Extension Service at 348-8453.
