Water fun

Hannah Hurt, age 7, enjoyed playing in the water with her friends at the ASPIRE Center pool Monday afternoon as the temperatures reached 80 degrees. The pool is now open daily from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

Rope assisted rescue

Monticello firefighter Gabe Heatherly participated in the 2003 Kentucky State Fire School at Lexington on Sunday. Above he is training on the course which is designed to enhance the firefighters ability to safely locate, access, stabilize, package, and transport a patient from low and high angle environments.
