A stolen pickup truck was recovered from lake waters on Sunday, July 28, according to Sheriff James Lynn Hill.

A 1998 Ford F-150 pickup was discovered Sunday evening in the water at F & T lake lots. The vehicle had apparently been reported stolen from Marion County, Indiana in April.

Hill said that following a brief search, the vehicle was recovered at approximately 10:37 p.m. Sunday night by Deputy Derek Lester and Deputy Tommy Spencer. They were assisted by Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Officer Mike Bowman and Kentucky State Police Trooper Matthew Feltner.

The investigation is continuing.
