Wayne County Jailer Ray Upchurch ordered a K-9 dog and its
instructor to do a complete walk-through of the Wayne County
Detention Center on Friday, August 26. All cells were examined and no
drugs were found.
The only items located were three lighters and Bugler smoking
tobacco. Jailer Upchurch stated that the K-9 will be returning to the
Detention Center for random checks.
