1-19-11 — Rep. Sara Beth Gregory, (R-Monticello, 52nd District) has been named Vice-Chairwoman of the House Judiciary Committee in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
"As a freshmen legislator, it is an honor to be named as vice- chairwoman of the House Judiciary Committee," said Rep. Gregory. "I look forward to serving on this committee and tackling the issues and concerns facing Kentucky's judicial system."
"Sara Beth's selection as vice-chairwoman is a testament to her abilities and leadership as a new legislator," said House Republican Floor Leader Jeff Hoover, R-Jamestown. "It also reinforces the confidence her constituents showed by selecting Sara Beth as their state representative."
In addition to her appointment as Vice-Chairwoman of the House Judiciary Committee, Gregory was also named to the House Agriculture & Small Business, and the Banking & Insurance committees.
