— The Wayne County Grand Jury met on Tuesday, April 21 and returned nine
indictments. Following are the indictments:
€ Mary B. Bertram was indicted for fraud or false statement in obtaining
benefits.
€ Roger A. Morrow was indicted for fraud or false statement in obtaining
benefits.
€ Charles Adam Atkinson was indicted for first degree assault.
€ Dennis W. Fitzpatrick was indicted for flagrant non-support.
€ Elvin Roy Sowell was indicted for forgery second degree, theft by
unlawful taking under $300 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
€ Robin M. Wolsey was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia.
€ James Brian Roberts was indicted for receiving stolen property.
€ Jarren S. Dodson and Axl D. Atkinson was indicted for burglary second
degree and theft by unlawful taking over $300. The two were named in a
second indictment on the same charges.
Grand jury indictments do not indicate guilt or innocence, but that
further court action is necessary in a case.
