— The Wayne County Grand Jury met on Tuesday, September 16 and returned a
total of 14 indictments. Nine of the indictments are sealed, and names of
individuals in those indictments will not be released until arrests have
been made.
Following are the remainder of the indictments returned last week.
€ Daniel D. McGuire was indicted for third degree burglary and theft by
unlawful taking over $300.
€ Jeremy Sescourka was indicted for first degree rape, first degree
sodomy, second degree escape, and tampering with a prisoner monitoring
device.
€ Doyle Gregory was indicted for third degree burglary and theft by
unlawful taking over $300
€ Derek Southwood was indicted for first degree robbery, first degree
burglary, theft by unlawful taking under $300, possession of drug
paraphernalia, expired registration plates, and persistent felony offender
second degree.
€ Ricky A. Meredith was indicted for possession of a firearm by a
convicted felon.
Readers are reminded that indictments do not imply guilt, only that
further court action is necessary.
