5-12-10 — The 16th Annual Celebrity Chef Sampler, sponsored by First Southern
National Bank, is set for Friday, May 7 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the National
Guard Armory.
Proceeds from the event will be divided among several organizations,
including the Disabled American Veterans, March of Dimes, the Back Pack
Program, WHAS Crusade for Children, the Monticello-Wayne County Park and the
Wayne County Rescue Squad.
More than $94,000 has been raised since this event began in 1995.
"The Celebrity Chef Sampler is one of our favorite times of the year,"
said Teresa Buoncristiani of First Southern National Bank. "We love being
able to help these local organizations. We hope everyone will come out and
support the event again this year.
Chefs from the community include businessmen and women, elected
officials, educators, retirees and many more.
Tickets for the Celebrity Chef Sampler are on sale now. Tickets are $10
each and may be purchase from any First Southern National Bank team member.
