Monticello — Wayne County Fiscal Court has received a $21,483.70 dividend payment
from Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) All Lines Fund. Larry Denney,
agent for KACo All Lines Fund, recently made the presentation to County
Judge-Executive Greg Rankin.
The dividend payment covers the policy year July 1, 2005 to June 30,
2006.
Joe Greathouse, KACo Director of Insurance, said "the dividend is
possible because county governments in Kentucky are working together to
effectively manage their insurance programs. By working together, fiscal
courts are able to lower premium payments and save taxpayers' money."
The KACo All Lines Fund has been providing coverage to county
governments and political subdivisions across the Commonwealth since 1987.
The fund currently insures 112 out of 117 fiscal courts that buy insurance.
Three counties are self-insured.
