7-7-10 — The Monticello Running Club made a good showing in the 5K Cool Run in Somerset on June 19. Most everyone who participated brought home an award. With a total of runners being nearly 200, this was thrilling for us to walk away with this many awards.
Lucy Gleason was an inspiration to all, having over 25 years in her running career. Names of people in our club who participated included: Taylor West, Greg West, Anneda Guffey, Ginger Hicks, Ronnie Sexton, Lucy Gleason, Jackie Dennis, Jimmy Dishman, Denise Smith, Nisha West, Gene Anderson, Jimmy Upchurch, and Kenny Owens.
