7-14-10 — The Wayne County Varsity Cheerleaders helped with the litter pick up
program during the month of June. The cheerleaders had the opportunity to
raise money for the squad by picking up litter on West 92.
The county received a grant and is allowing the money to be given back
to the community.
The Judge and Fiscal Court have provided an opportunity for school
organizations to use the litter pick up program as a fundraiser. This
program is coordinated by Solid Waste Coordinator Tim Bell.
