Monticello — The Wayne County Elementary Cross Country Team participated in the
Southern Harrier Classic, which was held at G.E. Field in Somerset on
September 19.
The girls' elementary team finished third overall.
Running the 1.1 miles, Sadie Martin placed third with a time of 7:22 and
Alexis Dixon placed ninth with a time of 7:45.
The boys' elementary team finished first overall. Running the 1.1 miles,
Dillon Penney finished third with a time of 6:44.
Drew Bell finished fifth with a time of 6:50, and Jordan Butcher
finished ninth with a time of 7:05.
