Another candidate has joined the list of those running for local

office in 2014.

According to Wayne County Clerk Josephine Gregory, Tyler Huff has

filed as a republican candidate for District Four Constable.

That brings the total number of candidates so far to 27, and there

are several more weeks left for those interested in running for

office to file their intentions.

Candidates who intend to seek offices that will appear on the May

primary ballot have until January 28 at 4 p.m. to file their

paperwork. Non-partisan offices that will not appear on the May

primary ballot include those for mayor, city council and school board

seats. Candidates in these races have a later deadline to file for

office.
