The two men being sought in connection with a burglary that occurred in

the Slickford community on November 28 are in custody, according to Wayne

County Sheriff Charlie Boston.

Charles Gibson was arrested in Science Hill and is currently lodged in

the Wayne County Detention Center. He has been charged with complicity to

commit burglary first degree.

Michael Gibson, of Mt. Orab, Ohio, was arrested in Loveland, Ohio

several days after the burglary occurred. Gibson is awaiting extradition to

Wayne County. He has been charged with burglary first degree and wanton

endangerment first degree.

According to the Sheriff's Department, the two men allegedly entered an

unoccupied residence at Slickford. When they were confronted by the owner,

police said that the man was threatened at gunpoint. The owner of the

residence escaped unharmed.

Michael and Charles Gibson fled the scene in a small white passenger car

with Ohio license plates. Local officials were involved in an extensive

search, after the vehicle was located abandoned in Monticello.
