PHYLLIS PERDUE

Phyllis Perdue, age 84, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Monday, December

29, 2008 at her home.

She was born November 6, 1924 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the

late Phillip ³Phil² and Laura (Gregory) Barrier.

She married George Filmore ³Pete² Perdue, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son-Gary Perdue of Somerset, Ky.; three

daughters-Linda Littrel and Connie Young, both of Monticello, Ky., and Sue

Guffey of Mission Viejo, Calif.; two brothers-Kay Barrier of Walton, Ky.,

and Jack Barrier of Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son-Jack Perdue; one daughter-Betty

Keith; two brothers-Frank and Milton Barrier; one sister-Mildred Foster; and

two grandchildren.

Graveside and burial services were held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at

3 p.m. at the Elk Spring Cemetery with Bro. Stan Stephenson officiating.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
