Jennifer Powell, age 37, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Wednesday,

January 28, 2009 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

She was born December 10, 1971 in Albany, Ky., the daughter of Huey

Abbott and Maggie Anna Duncan.

She married J.B. Powell, who survives.

She is survived by two children-Whitney and Brandon Powell of

Monticello, Ky.; and one brother-Michael Abbott of Monticello, Ky.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the

funeral home chapel with Bro. Kyle Waddell officiating. Burial followed in

the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Jennifer has gone to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, but her spirit

and love will always be felt in our hearts.
