RUTH RAMSEY CONN

Feb. 14, 1913-Feb. 25, 2009

Ruth Ramsey Conn, age 96, of Greenwood, Ind., passed away Wednesday,

February 25, 2009 at Regency Place of Greenwood, Ind.

She was born February 14, 1913 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the

late Logan Oscar and Polley Jane (Coffey) Ramsey.

She married John Lee Conn on June 16, 1934, who preceded her in death on

December 10, 1976.

She is survived by two sons-Joseph Corbett Conn of Monticello, Ky. and

Kenneth Lee Conn of Connersville, Ind.; three daughters-Betty Ann

Kleinschmidt of Greenwood, Ind., Geneva Conn Shepherd of Lawrenceburg, Ky.,

and Kathy Jane Bell of Union City, Tenn.; two brothers-Forrest and Paul

Kennett, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and nine

great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter-Georgena Conn Shewmaker; one

brother-Elmo Ramsey; and two sisters-Lucille Turner and Mary Kinnett White.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the

funeral home chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating. Burial followed in

the Parmley's Grove Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
