COLUM TOLER

July 5, 1925-Mar. 13, 2009

Colum Toler, age 83, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Wayne

County Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born July 5, 1925, the son of the late William Ephraim and Daisy

Miller Toler.

On February 11, 1953 he united in marriage with Mae Zimmerman Toler, who

survives.

To this 56 year union two children survive-Floyd and wife Pam Toler and

Diane and husband Tony Burks.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren-Jason, Allen, Monica, Amanda,

Scarlet, Colter and Haley; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters-Zilpha Frost

and Lexie Frost; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to

mourn his passing.

Mr. Toler was retired after 35 years of service with Kentucky Division

of Fish and Wildlife. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and attended the

Monticello First Church of God as his health permitted.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 19, 2009 in the funeral home

chapel with Bro. Oral Denney officiating. Burial followed in the Elk Spring

Cemetery.
