Jack Sawyer, age 79, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Monday, April 13,
2009 at his home.
He was born May 1, 1929 in Albany, Ky., the son of the late Cleo and
Vena (Wright) Sawyer.
He married June Roberts, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons-Dr. James (Nancy) Sawyer and Joe (Anne)
Sawyer, both of Monticello, Ky.; five grandchildren-Katy, Emily, Cory,
Jennifer, and Adam.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the
funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in
the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
