Jan. 8, 1946-April 15, 2009
Johnny Young, age 63, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Wednesday, April
15, 2009 at his home.
He was born January 8, 1946 in Monticello, Ky., the son of the late
Ephraim and Alta (Russell) Young.
He married Kathleen Brown, who survives.
He is survived by one daughter-Savannah Stephens of Ft. Wayne, Ind.;
eight brothers-Thomas, James, George, Charlie, Richard, Ray, Killis, and
Jack Young, all of Monticello, Ky.; two sistersJoyce Tuggle and Betsy
Lyons, both of Monticello, Ky.; one granddaughter-Amy.
He was preceded in death by one brother-Robert Young.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the
funeral home chapel with Joyce Neal officiating. Burial followed in the Elk
Spring Cemetery.
Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
