JOHN BELL

Feb. 14, 1954-Sept. 11, 2008

John Bell, age 54, of Monticello, Ky. passed away Thursday, September

11, 2008 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

He was born February 14, 1954 in Monticello, Ky.,the son of the late

Preston and Rosie (Dishman) Bell.

He is survived by two sons-Jonathan Bell and John Bentley; three

daughters-Jessica Bell, Jessica Perkins, and Katrina Bates; three

brothers-Jack, Jim, and Jessie Bell; five sisters-Nettie Bell, Lena Rednour,

Christine Atkinson, Cora Lopez, and Flora Kennedy; four grandchildren-Dallas

and Angel Bell and Tyler and Dylan Perkins.

He was preceded in death by five sisters-Ruth Nadine, Annie, Mary, Betty

Jean, and Lara Bell.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the

funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial was in the

Taylor Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
