DORIS ROBERTS

May 9, 1928-Sept. 17 2008

Doris Roberts, age 80, wife of former Monticello Mayor Milton Roberts,

passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville,

Tenn.

She is survived by one son-Howard Wallace Roberts; one daughter-Wanda

Darwin; three brothers-Richard, John and Mitchell Cooper; one

sister-Margaret Garner; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at

First Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
