Ralph Lair, age 80, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.
He was born September 6, 1930 in Monticello, Ky.; the son of the late Ira and Leona (Barnett) Lair.
He is survived by his wife-Wanda Lair;one son-Jimmy (Peggy) Lair; one daughter-Wilma (Cecil) Stinson; two step daughters-Louise (Bobby Kay) Keith and Marla (Huey) Alley; one sister- Mary (Damon) Smith; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother-Eugene Lair; and two grandchildren.
He returned to Monticello after retiring, having worked in Indiana for over 40 years. He was a member of Faith United Baptist Church where he attended as often as his health permitted.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Daniel Richardson and Bro. Charles Eugene Dick officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
