Carrie Mae Thompson, age 91, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.
She was born October 6, 1918 in Monticello, Ky. to the late Joshua Cansade (Sexton) Alexander.
She married Joe Thompson, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by four daughters-Nancy Eller of Monticello, Ky., Joyce Bergen of Aiken, S.C., Janet Reagen of Los Angeles, Calif., and Sherry Hall of Lakeland Fla. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons Billy and Bruce Thompson; five brothers Everett, Robert, Kenneth, Jack, and Lee Alexander and two sisters Lena and Lythia Gregory.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dennis Walker officiating. Burial was in the Alexander Cemetery.
