Jakin Isaac Wells was born to Heaven November 24, 2010.
He is survived by his parents-Benjamin and Mattie Wells; his brother-Ethan Wells; grandparents-Nancy Carter, of Monticello, Mitchell Carter, of Russell Springs, Roger and Juanita Wells of London, Ky.; and
great-grandparents- Hazel Parmley of Monticello and Frances Kania of Washingtonville, NY.
He is proceeded in death by his sister-Shyla Joy Wells; and his great-grandparents-Glen Parmley, Peter Kania, Carlis Wells and Marie Kilburn Wells.
The family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the memorial fund at the Marvin Hicks Funeral Home. Donations in Jakin's memory will be used to start a resource library for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark Harrell officiating. Burial was in the Parnell Baptist Church.
