Susie Elizabeth Hollars Watson, age 81, of Somerset, Ky., passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at her home.
She was born November 6, 1928, in Parnell, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late R.Z. and Nova Edda Crabtree Hollars.
She is survived by her husband, Ellis E. Watson, whom she married on August 29, 1953.
She is also survived by three sons and their wives-Wade D. and Teresa Watson of Trafalgar, Ind., Terry G. and Nancy Watson of New Castle, Ind., Randy D. and Carol Watson of Somerset, Ky.; Six grandchildren-Joshua T. and
(Stephenie) Watson, Kara J. and (Brandon) Kirk, Anna J. and (Brock) Triplett, W. Kyle and (Brittany) Watson, Nathaniel L. Watson and Chestin D.
Watson.; Two great-grandchildren-Erica L. Watson and Faith Elizabeth J.
Triplett.
She is also survived by five siblings-Odie D. and (Gladys) Hollars of Monticello, Ky., Lilly F. Dane of Castle, Ind., Ralph E. and (Gladys) Hollars of Spiceland, Ind., and Opal M. and (Clay) Upchurch of New Castle Ind.; two sisters-in-law Eva Hollars and Sue Hollars, both of New Castle, Ind.
She was preceded in death by three siblings-William Walter Hollars, Irene Sullivan and Raymond A. (Jack) Hollars; brothers-in-law-Floyd Dane and Ottis Sullivan.
She was a homemaker, a pastor¹s wife and attended Norwood Holiness Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 18, 2010 in the funeral home chapel. Burial in the Parnell Cemetery.
