Monticello — Jan. 20, 1946-Mar. 25, 2010
Druzella "Dee" Choate was born January 20, 1946 and departed this life Thursday, March 25, 2010 after a long illness. She was 64 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Thena (Hollars) Ferrell. She was united in marriage to the late William Choate on March 13, 1965 and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by two daughters-H. Chris Ellen Choate Maxwell and her son, Ricky Maxwell, both of Monticello, Ky., Billie (and Jerry) Kiser and their children-Jerome Kiser and Shonda Kiser, all of Monticello, Ky., and one sister-Frances (and Charles) Meece of Somerset, Ky.; along with a host of very close family and friends who will mourn her passing.
She was also preceded in death by one sister-Rosie Ferrell Whitaker.
She made a profession of faith and was baptized November 11, 1982 and was a member of Sandusky Chapel Baptist Church.
She was a cook most of her life at The Cumberland Dairy, Camp Earl Wallace and several other places. It was always a pleasure to sit down at her table.
She was a loving mother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 29, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial was in the Piney Woods Cemetery in Clinton County, Ky.
