Mayo Anderson Dean was born January 12, 1923 in the Parmleysville community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Maynard and Viola Johnson Anderson. She departed this life Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Stanford reaching an age of 87 years.
She was united in marriage with Freddie Dean, who passed away May 26, 2002.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is the last survivor of the Maynard and Viola Anderson family. She is preceded in death by her siblings-Imal Anderson, Roxie Cooper, Effie Hale, Virgil, Sterlie, Willie and Versie Anderson.
She had accepted Christ at her Savior and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewey Burks officiating. Burial was in the Dishman Cemetery.
