Rondal Eli New, age 68, of the Delta Community of Wayne County passed away peacefully Saturday, November 6, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Flossie, Ky. on September 27, 1942 to the late Harl and Myra Stanley New. He was of Baptist faith, a member of Zion Baptist Church, enjoyed life and visiting people.
He is survived by his wife-Louise Morrow New, who he married on November 29, 1964 in Tateville, Ky.; two sons-Joey Ronald (and Janet) New of Bronston, Ky., Boyd Chester (and Katina) New of Bronston, Ky.; six sisters- Madgline New of Bedford, Ind., Pauline Hammonds of South Amhurst, Ohio., Mary Smoot of Ind., Dewetta Merritt of Somerset, Ky., Betty Prather of Bronston, Ky., Kathy Morrow of Bronston, Ky.; a daughter-in-law-Tina New of Bronston, Ky.; six grandchildren-Nathan New, Stacy VanMeter, Cody New, Amy New, Austin New, and Kristen New.
He is preceded in death by a son-Steven Kent New; a brother-Ray New; two sisters-Hazel Branscum, Ruby Jean Casada; and two grandchildren-Michael New, and Duane New.
Funeral services for Rondal Eli New were held on Tuesday, November, 9, 2010 at Zion Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. est. with Bro. Denzil Jones and Bro. Gary Lovitt officiating. Burial was in the Morrow Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
