Henry Lee Clark, age 69, was born in the Ritner community of Wayne County, July 16, 1941, the son of the late Oliver and Zina Morrow Clark. He passed away Monday, October 25, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
On August 12, 1964 he united in marriage with Marie Tucker Clark, who survives. To this union two daughters survive-Charlotte Blevins and Melissa Kempton, both of Monticello. His son Roger Allen Clark passed away in November 2001.
Also surviving is his granddaughter-Hannah Grace Kempton; his sisters-Mae Martin and Delta Tucker; and brother-Noel Tucker.
He is preceded in death by his sisters-Alta Branscum and Flonnie Coffey; and brother-Willie Clark.
As a young man, he accepted Christ at his Savior and joined the Lick Creek Baptist Church but was a longtime member of the Lower Turkey Creek Baptist Church at the time of his passing.
The funeral services were held Friday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Hurstle Clark and Bro. Carlie Tucker officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
