Gladys Smith Turner, age 90, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Tuesday, November 09, 2010 at the Wayne County Hospital in Monticello, Ky.
She was born April 3, 1920 in Russell Springs, Ky.; the daughter of the late Reuben and Lizzie (Brockman) Smith.
She was united in marriage to Leonard Turner; who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son-Harold (Charlene) Turner; two grandchildren-Lance (Kristi) Turner and Carissa Turner; two great-grandchildren-Lane and Jade Turner.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild-Vanessa Jade Turner.
She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of Parmley¹s Grove Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her death.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Larry Marcum officiating. Burial was in the Parmley¹s Grove Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Parmley¹s Grove Church Cemetery or the Gideon¹s International Bible Fund.
