The Defensive Action Against Drugs Back to School Bash is Friday,
July 26, 6-8 p.m. at the ASPIRE Center. Wayne County students K-12th
grade are invited with those 16 and under to be accompanied by an
adult. Everything is free including school supplies, inflatable
games, swimming, Lion's Club eye photo, food for students and adults,
cotton candy, gently used clothes, books, and a chance to win a laptop
computer, tablets, bookbags and more. Bring lawn chairs and drinking
water for your family. The BASH is provided by a caring community
that wants our kids to learn and be drug-free.

ON THE FARM
The 17th annual Singing Down on the Farm will be held Saturday, July

YOUTH CENTER CARNIVAL
The Jordan Crouch Memorial Youth Center will be having a carnival on
Saturday, August 3 at 12 noon. Bring dollars and be prepared for lots
of fun. A meet and greet with Poppi from Trolls will be from 12:30 to
1 p.m. Chase from Paw Patrol will be making an appearance. There will
be live music from Kristen Hunter, Julie Stockton and Family Tradition

14U Wayne County Snipers softball proudly presents Monticello's First
Annual Summer Slam double elimination adult five on five basketball
tournament. The tournament will be held at The ASPIRE Center, 90

be held June 20-July 20. There is a $150 team entry free with a seven

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program's goal is to help assure that
long-term care facility residents live harmoniously with dignity,
feeling free to voice complaints or concerns without reprisal. They
are in need of volunteers to spend 8-16 hours a month visiting
assigned nursing homes to talk with residents and observe conditions.
