BYRD-ZACHARY REUNION
    The descendents of William Harrison Byrd and Lucinda Hildreth 
Zachary will be holding their 40th annual Byrd-Zachary reunion on 
Saturday, July 27  starting at 3 p.m. at the Clinton County 
Fairground in Albany, Ky. Pictures will be taken at 4:30 p.m. Dinner 
will be served at approximately 5 p.m. CST. An auction will beheld at 
6 p.m. Please bring your favorite covered dish, family pictures, two 
gifts for the auction and anything else you would like to share.

HOMECOMING SERVICES AT CLAY HILL BAPTIST CHURCH
    Clay Hill Baptist Church will be having homecoming services on 
Sunday, July 7 at 10 a.m. There will be special singing and lunch.

VBS AT MONTICELLO FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH
    Monticello First Baptist Church will be having Vacation Bible School 
July 7-11 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. nightly. There will be classes for 
children age 4 through grade 12. The theme is In The Wild. There will

VBS AT NEW
CHARITY BAPTIST CHURCH
    New Charity Baptist Church will be having revival services beginning 
Sunday, July 7 with two sessions, at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Nightly 
classes will be held Monday-Wednesday at 6 p.m. There will be classes 
for Pre-K through adults. Everyone is welcome.
REVIVAL AT BIG SPRINGS BAPTIST CHURCH
    Bro. Danny Hicks and the congregation of Big Springs Baptist Church

MONTICELLO'S FIRST ANNUAL
SUMMER SLAM
    14U Wayne County Snipers softball proudly presents Monticello's 
First Annual Summer Slam double elimination adult five on five 
basketball tournament. The tournament will be held at The ASPIRE 
Center, 90 Airport Rd. Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28. 
Registration will be held June 20-July 20. There is a $150 team entry 
free with a seven player max per team. Players must be at least 16 
years of age. Each team will receive team shirt with numbers. Winners 
will received individual trophies and championship shirt.  For

THE SECOND
LIFE CAMPUS
    The Second Life Campus, a ministry of Monticello United Methodist 
Church, will relocate in July to the Senior Citizens Building, 75 
Columbia Ave. Services will be held on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m.   
rather than Tuesday. The Second Life small group Bible Study will
continue but will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

FAMILY REUNION
    The John L. Smith family reunion will be held Sunday, July 7 at Elk 
Spring Valley Baptist Church family life center. The center is 
located three miles East of downtown on E. Hwy. 92. Please bring a

GENERAL
MEETING
    The Wayne County Historical Society general meeting will be held 
Tuesday, July 16 at 7 p.m. ET at the Wayne Theater, 30 N. Main St. 
The topic will be Sons of Confederate Veterans Myers/Zollicoffer Camp 
1990 and Sons of Union Veterans of Civil War Camp 64.
   
SHELBY LOREN GUFFEY FAMILY REUNION
    The Shelby Loren Guffey family reunion will be held Saturday, July 
20 at the ASPIRE Center in Monticello. The doors will open around 11 
a.m. ET with a potluck meal at 12 noon ET. The reunion is being held 
the third Saturday in July this year.
   
EDWARDS REUNION
    The Edwards reunion will be held Saturday, August 10 at the Senior 
Citizens building. Lunch will be at noon. Come join us for food, fun

    Faith Baptist Church will be having Vacation Bible School June 24-27

    The Monticello Woman's Club GFWC KY meets the first Monday of the 
month at 6:30 p.m. at the Second Life building (the old Cumberland

    Donations are needed for the upkeep of the Buster Cemetery at Frog

LONG-TERM CARE OMBUDSMAN PROGRAM
    The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program's goal is to help assure that 
long-term care facility residents live harmoniously with dignity, 
feeling free to voice complaints or concerns without reprisal. They 
are in need of volunteers to spend 8-16 hours a month visiting 
assigned nursing homes to talk with residents and observe conditions.

AL-ANON MEETING
    An Al-Anon meeting for families of alcoholics or addicts will be 
held each Monday at 6 p.m. at the Wayne County Hospital conference room.
   
AWANA
    The AWANA Clubs and Youth Ministries of Steubenville Baptist Church 
are underway. Supper begins at 5:30 p.m. Clubs and small groups will

JORDAN CROUCH MEMORIAL YOUTH CENTER IS OPEN EVERY FRIDAY
    The Jordan Crouch Memorial Youth Center is open every Friday night 
from 6 to 10 p.m. There is two game rooms packed with exciting games 
that are free to play. There is also a lounge area with free wifi and 
board games. Hotdogs and popcorn can be purchased for 50 cents each 
and drinks are $1.
 
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
    Celebrate Recovery is a free Christ centered recovery program. 
Celebrate can help with freedom from life's hurts, hang ups and 
habits, not just substance abuse. Celebrate meets each Thursday
