I’m a driver. I love to drive. I have a lifelong appreciation of and interest in car culture that’s taken me to hundreds of car shows and races. It’s been some years, but I’ve wrenched on cars too, especially Oldsmobiles, having gone overboard with one, a 1963 Olds F-85 convertible. That was the precursor to the beloved yet defunct Cutlass. When I sold the ragtop Frankenstein it had a Chevy mill, and Olds transmission, and a Ford rear end. It was a fun, expensive, one-off project.
