Fiscal Court approves Fiscal Court approves second reading to refinance purchase of cable system The Wayne County Fiscal Court approved the second reading of an ordinance refinancing the purchase of the local cable system, during a special meeting held Tuesday, September 7. Magistrates voted 3-1 to approve the refinancing of $2.3 million, which is the county’s half of the purchase of the cable system. District One Magistrate Jerry Sloan voted against the measure.
