Ross charged with six felony offenses following search
A local man was charged with six felony offenses following a search of a residence on Carter Road, according to the Monticello Police Department. On Tuesday, September 14, officers of the Monticello Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Randy Ross. Marijuana, cash, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, firearms, drug paraphernalia and numerous other items were seized. Ross, 31, was arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, cultivating marijuana, trafficking in a controlled substance second degree, trafficking in a controlled substance third degree and receiving a stolen firearm. Ross was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Monticello Police.
